Great taste, lentils are raw

The food itself tastes great, but the lentils within the product do not soften. So you're crunching down on raw lentils. I left it for double the amount of time suggested on the packet, and even added more boiling water to help with trying to soften the lentils, but no luck.
Outside temperature was about 12 degrees, so it's not like the hot water was being drawn out.

Would be better if they just either took the lentils out, or they were smaller to cook through easier.

Great camp food.

I found this meal to be exactly what I needed, after a long wet day. Boil the water, wait 8 minutes or so, and you're ready to tuck into a surprisingly tasty, fulfilling meal. Just the job.

Good flavor

Taste was quite good, but the lentils just would not get soft even after letting sit longer than directed. Next time would probably dump straight into pot on the propane burner and boil there.

Great meal

I had this while wild camping and it was lovely! Good portion and very tasty. So easy to make up- just add boiling water.
