Easy, tasty but consistency slightly off putting

The Chicken Tikka with rice was super lightweight and easy to make by adding boiled water. Stirred constantly for a few minutes and added a little more water as it was a bit thick still for me. I struggled to get right to the bottom of the bag to mix the water into the powder though. It looked filthy, tasted okay and had a nice hot kick to it and certainly warmed me up on a cold evening in the rain. The chicken was slightly powdery/dry so I assume I hadn't mixed it enough. Not sure I'd use them if it wasn't for the convenience but they serve a purpose. I'd buy more for sure when next needed.

Used for DofE expedition

My son took these on his latest Duke of Edinburgh expedition. He absolutely loved them, breakfast’s and evening meals, no problems at all. The two breakfasts and two evening meals saved just under a kilo in weight compared to ‘wet’ meals. They did cost a bit more than wet meals but worth it for the performance, flavour and weight saving.

Great for Duke of Edinburgh

My daughter loved this meal. Being gluten free means it's hard to buy meals easily. We'll buy this again for her next expedition. She'll be looking forward to it at the end of a long day

Summit to eat.

The best tasting Chicken tikka in a bag by far! I just keep on re ordering this time and time again as for my outdoor adventures. Just add boiling water stir well and leave and you have a heart warming ready meal.

First time try

I had the large (1000 cal) pack.
Pack was physically bigger than I thought it might be.
Having said that there was plenty of room in the pack when the hot water was added.
Plenty of meat and just the amount of spice. Went down a treat.
Just don't look at it as you eat.
Tip, fold down the open packed a little before you add the water. It makes it easier to get a spoon to the bottom of the pack.
