Home cooking in the hills.

Added boiling water and really stirred it , waited 8 mins and it was really delicious and such a quantity as well. Would order again without hesitation.

Chicken tikka with rice

This is an enjoyable product, however, as with the beef and potato stew (which I thought was delicious), the meat did not fully rehydrate after 8-10 minutes. Would purchase both again.

So good you wouldn’t think it had been dehydrated. The perfect meal after a long day in the hills. Add the boiling water, give it a wee stir, seal and get on with other stuff. Another quick stir after the times up and your dinner is served. Highly recommend!

Easy, tasty but consistency slightly off putting

The Chicken Tikka with rice was super lightweight and easy to make by adding boiled water. Stirred constantly for a few minutes and added a little more water as it was a bit thick still for me. I struggled to get right to the bottom of the bag to mix the water into the powder though. It looked filthy, tasted okay and had a nice hot kick to it and certainly warmed me up on a cold evening in the rain. The chicken was slightly powdery/dry so I assume I hadn't mixed it enough. Not sure I'd use them if it wasn't for the convenience but they serve a purpose. I'd buy more for sure when next needed.

Used for DofE expedition

My son took these on his latest Duke of Edinburgh expedition. He absolutely loved them, breakfast’s and evening meals, no problems at all. The two breakfasts and two evening meals saved just under a kilo in weight compared to ‘wet’ meals. They did cost a bit more than wet meals but worth it for the performance, flavour and weight saving.
