Tasted really good, I love beans from my youth. Used on my TGO23 challenge this year. You need the calories for the big walks. Hydration time is longer than some.
I take these meals on wild walking trips. Ca. 6 hour per day wildcamping facilitated walks in fell county. They give me all the energy I require and offer excellent variety vs rice based meals.
Had for evening meal on a snowy trek through the Cairngorms - a very tasty change from rice or pasta dishes. Spicier (not as in 'hot') than I was expecting which was a bonus. Glad I bought more than one.
