I've found expedition foods are good across most of the range, and are one of the best dehydrated food brands (the other being, in my view, Bla Band). The chilli con carne had a good portion size and was filling and tasty. I expect chilli con carne to be a bit spicy, so this was no bad thing. However, in my view there are a couple of others that I think are better, so would reserve my 5* rating for the expedition foods spag bol, or chicken korma.
Good product and service, but so much out of stock!!!!
We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. Make sure you give it a good stir to avoid dry bits. Will buy again.
One of the best boil in the bag meals I've had. Great taste and consistency. Suitably spicey. Will buy again.
Pretty good considering, but nothing beats homemade. The sauce is a bit bland, but nice to see whole kidney beans. Not sure what the standard is with expedition foods as I've had one with markings in the bag, but this one didn't so just had to guess the amount of water to put in. The mince was pretty small so if you prefer big chunkier pieces, maybe this isn't for you. Would probably buy again but not my favourite
