Delicious and filling

I really enjoyed this. First such meal I've had and it was a lot better than I expected. I'll probably order again. It was the right amount for me after a full day walking though so wouldn't call it a meal for two necessarily.

Great food

This is probably the 3rd time I’ve ordered from base camp food and the prices are great the menu selection is good it come well packaged up and never had a problem with delivery. I’ve never had a problem with expedition food always a good taste and flavourful, easy to prepare with easy instructions.
Not had the chicken korma before which is for my 10yo son I have the chicken tikka and I keep a second set in my ditch bag in the canoe just in case.

Delicious Meal for Two

The high energy 1000kcal freeze-dried Expedition Foods Chicken Korma makes a great backpacking meal for two. Super lightweight and easy to pack, it is ready to eat in a few minutes and tastes superb! It has the feel of a freshly made home cooked curry and is definitely one of the best backpacking meals we’ve tried to date. Highly recommended.

Very pleasantly surprised

My experience of convenience food when camping was always military rations. Good but not great. The Korma was really good and I sat next to my small fire very smugly eating great food. I have to be honest, there was so much, I couldn’t eat it all and I’m not a small portion kind of person.

Definitely recommended and like Andrew Perrin said, it isn’t your usual mild korma, it has a little warmth.

Good!

Tasty, but spicy (in case you’re not into spice).
