Really good - expensive but excellent quality.
Was bought as a Xmas gift for me and my buddy and also as a new meal to try. I was dubious of how well it would taste being much more expensive than other turmat meals! To my taste buds delight it was truly amazing and delicious, quite possibly the tastiest camp meal I've tried and it made a change from chicken curry and pasta meals. I would definitely recommend and buy more again.
Was looking forward to this meal all though out my hike.
Arrived at our location to wild camp and within 15 mins has the reindeer stew really taisty meal all I was hoping for not to filling very taisty. Going to order two more for a Christmas wildcamp with my son...lockdown permitting.
I ordered the Turmat Reindeer Stew for the first time - it was delicious, washed it down with a cup-a-soup and felt like I'd had a decent meal. I'm a big fella, so meals need to be hearty to keep me going. Incredibly light to carry, easy to eat straight out of the packet with a spork.
Not cheap, but was my main meal on a backpacking trip - I felt represented good value.
I'll be buying more, and I'll take a look at the other Turmat foods.
Didn't need to use meal on my trek as I managed to find food all days.
The long use by date and low weight is brilliant for this purpose of carrying emergency rations and peace of mind!
Look forward to tasting it next Spring on next trek.
