Tasty & Filling

Of the STE range, Chicken Fajita came in 3rd for me behind Pasta Bolognese#2 and Beef & Potato Stew#1.
It supplies a decent portion, rehydrates well and the chicken resembles real chicken rather than the hard, tiny cubes in other freeze dried meals.

Using an insulated bag to retain heat during the rehydration process definitely helps.

I gave it a 4* rating because it could use a little more spice in my opinion.

All in all a really good backpacking meal.

Absolutely Brilliant

Really filling, quick to rehydrate, and actually legitimately tasty without being overly salty. Could have done with a little extra spice, but that's easy enough to remedy.

Delicious and filling

I took this to brecon whilst wild camping.
Surprisingly good. I would recommend giving a very big stir at the beginning, making sure the bottom of bag is opened out so no dry bits get stuck and then close the seal and leave for 10 mins, keep it inside your jacket to keep the warmth in

Not had freeze dried meals before, so didn’t expect too much, but it was nice and filled me for the night so did it’s job!

Only bad point for me was the packet itself, the zip loc at the top peeled off so it wouldn’t stay shut on its own.
